What makes Power-Algebra different?

Power-Algebra was designed specifically for the teacher who is assigned students who hate math, are behind in math, or are Special Needs students. The course is designed to engage your classroom students at their level of mathematics understanding, yet accelerate their comprehension and enjoyment of mathematics.

How are the students “engaged” in Power-Algebra?

Both the instructional lessons and the enrichment resources, provide visual concepts through mathematical movements to your student. The lessons are colorful, yet high school appropriate in providing the right amount of stimulus, to your student’s mind.

So how are the lessons taught to the students?

Each engaging lesson is provided to the teacher through a secured Powerpoint presentation. Through the use of a laptop computer, a projection unit, and a remote control, the teacher can stand in the back of the classroom and interact with the students, while totally controlling the animated lesson showing from the projector unit. Classroom management issues are solved, as the students take notes during the lesson.

Is there a textbook?

Not a textbook which attempts to teach the material to the student – but rather, student note pages, where your student takes notes throughout the instructional lesson. Additionally, you would download the master print, and make the appropriate number of copies of homeworks and tests for your students, to measure your student’s understanding.

Is this one of those silly, animated math courses, geared towards the mind of a seven-year old?

Absolutely not. Power-Algebra is a comprehensive Algebra One course, teaching your students patterns, functions, slope, graphing of inequalities, and quadratics. ALL of the algebraic benchmarks are thoroughly taught through the Power-Algebra course.

So where will my students be, after completing the Power-Algebra course?

Fully ready and equipped to take any High School Geometry course.

Is Power-Algebra expensive?

$249.99 for all 14 Units, or $24.99 per unit.  This provides the teacher with the full download of all files, which can be used at any time, regardless of the internet connectivity. The purchase price includes all of the materials, including Answer Keys for all tests, homeworks, and resources for the teacher.

What if my Board of Education won’t purchase the entire Power-Algebra curriculum?
